written by Ronnie Dunn and Phillip Coleman
recorded by RONNIE DUNN

Some times a Country song will cut through the bullshit and get right down to what Country is all about. Itís an effort to communicate lifeís hard realities in a way that draws the listenerís understanding and empathy. A story designed to stir the listenerís desire to take action and do something.

ĎCost of Liviní, written by Ronnie Dunn and Phillip Coleman, is like a hard kick in the ass. Itís a reminder that people all around us are struggling just to get by, good folks like us who just happen to be in desperate straights because the world isnít always fair. Ronnie Dunn casts a spell over the listener with his recording of this fantastic ballad. If this isnít a call to action I donít know what is.

Well this is my effort to cover this great tune. I hope you like it. Be sure to check out Ronnieís recording. It is a modern day gem.
